- Approximately 66,000 carats of historical facet-grade emerald production reported from small-scale mining
- Historical mining was predominantly shallow, while drilling indicates selected shoots continue to depths of approximately 20–35 m

Mine-to-Market Strategy
Gemstar is developing a staged mine-to-market strategy for Menzies emeralds, combining product evaluation, structured sales channels, industry relationships and longer-term downstream opportunities.
Near-Term Market Development
- Establish direct B2B relationships with qualified gemstone buyers, traders and industry participants
- Sort and grade recovered emerald material into marketable parcels
- Undertake independent gemmological evaluation and product characterisation
- Develop initial pricing benchmarks and buyer feedback
Structured Sales & Value Development
- Progressively introduce sealed-bid tender and auction-style sales for selected emerald parcels
- Build repeat relationships with international cutting, trading and jewellery markets
- Strengthen certification, provenance and traceability across the sales process
- Explore selected cutting, polishing and downstream collaborations
Industry Relationships
Bonas Group — engagement supports Gemstar’s development of structured emerald tender and international buyer access strategies.
GUILD Gem Laboratories — Gemstar is engaging with GUILD in relation to independent gemmological testing, product characterisation and certification pathways for Menzies emeralds.
Planned Focus of IPO Funds
Funds raised under the IPO are intended primarily to advance the Menzies Emerald Project, including:
Exploration & Evaluation
A staged evaluation combining trenching, drilling, systematic bulk sampling and gemmological recovery testing.
Operations & Bulk Sampling
Field consumables, camp maintenance, sample transport and optical sorter trial operations.
Plant & Site Infrastructure
An optical gemstone sorting unit, a secure processing shed, off-grid solar and battery storage, and camp accommodation upgrades.
Corporate & Working Capital
Costs of the offer, ASX compliance, mobile plant financing and general working capital.
