Peter Huljich
Non-Executive Chair | Governance & Compliance
Peter has more than 25 years’ experience across listed resources, capital markets and complex cross-border transactions, with extensive Chairman and Director experience across ASX and international resource companies.
A former senior investment banking professional with Macquarie, Goldman Sachs, Barclays, Lehman Brothers and Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein, he brings strong expertise in IPOs, capital raising, M&A, corporate governance and strategic transactions across the mining and energy sectors.
Yi (Sky) Zhang
Co-Founder & Executive Director | Strategy & Development
Sky has extensive experience in capital markets, corporate development, investor relations and fundraising, with hands-on experience across ASX IPO execution, prospectus preparation and investor engagement.
He leads Gemstar’s Pre-IPO and IPO execution across legal, audit and advisory workstreams, and brings strong capability in corporate management, strategic planning and long-term business development.
Tao (Steven) Liu
Managing Director | Operations & Production
Steven has more than 12 years’ experience across gemstone operations, production and international trading, with practical exposure to emerald projects, contractors and downstream market engagement.
He is responsible for operational planning, processing workflows and project execution, and leads the Menzies Emerald Project’s transition from exploration into development.
Robert Nigel Chapman
Non-Executive Director | Technical & Geology
Nigel is a geologist with nearly 30 years’ international experience across gemstones, precious metals and natural resources, with project experience across Australia, Africa, Latin America, the Middle East, Europe and Asia.
He has extensive experience advancing projects from exploration and discovery through development and production, and provides Board-level oversight of technical strategy, geology, exploration and project development.
Robert Marusco
CFO & Company Secretary | Finance & Reporting
Robert has more than 35 years’ experience across corporate governance, finance and capital markets, including extensive experience as CFO, Company Secretary and governance adviser to listed and private companies.
He brings strong capability in financial reporting, audit coordination, compliance and board governance, and supports Gemstar’s financial management, ASX readiness and corporate governance framework.
